x console 1936 ART DECO Silver Marshal 8~tube Model 2848 RADIO Magnificent little antique console radio mfg by Silver Marshall. An obscure and unusual set. Eight tubes with tuning eye. Superb art deco case design with round black dial and colorful markings. Original finish and black laquer attributes are fantastic!! Even retains the original grill cloth! The Jensen "R" speaker with alinco magnet give this little console alot more volume than sets with twice the tube count. Circa 1936. Model number stamped in back of case top is 2848 P.
